Spinoff to babies thread: How old will you be when you have kids?
How old do you all think you will be when you decide to start having kids. Im still undecided on whether I want children. I think my mind will change in the future though. Im thinking I will start having kids around 32 but it also depends on how stable we are.

I'm going to say about 30. It depends on a lot of factors. I'm 27 now, and will turn 28 right after the wedding.
If we are in a house before the end of '08 -- then it might be sooner.
I'm not going to work once we have kids, so, we have to make sure we have some money in the bank to fall back on, just in case.

I am 26 now and will be 27 when we get married I hope by the time I am 29 will have 1 or one on the way. I don't want to be to old. They say once your in your mid 30's it's harder.

i'm 31 now and FH will turn 38 a month after the wedding, so probably around 33-34. we're trying to get it so we'll have at least one before he's 40, or at least right when he turns 40. we also won't have any kids til we have a house, so as soon as we get married, we're putting the condo on the market and starting our househunting phase.

If it was up to FH I would be giving birth the day after our wedding (and I am not kidding about this!)
I will be 30 when we get married so god willing not too long after the wedding -- I would say I would like to be pregnant within the first year of our marriage.

i guess whenver we are financially and mentally ready - i want to be in a house for at least a year or two AND be more than comfortable living off of just FH's salary - we both want me to stay home when we have children......a part of me can't wait and there is another part of me that is selfish and doesnt really want kids - i want FH all to myself!
