Why all the hatin' on the (probably exaggerated) money figures regarding Chelsea Clinton's wedding?
Almost once a month, someone on here posts the (never original) question: IF MONEY IS NO OBJECT...WHAT KIND OF WEDDING WOULD YOU HAVE?
Which we all answer with our ideas, visions of upgrades and designers and destinations dancing in our heads.
She's someone where obviously, money is no object. Good for her for being able to answer the question and actually live the dream.
Just a thought!

no hate.. but its obvious how some ppl get soo ripped off cuz they flaunt money
i told girls all the time.. leave ur freakin ring and designer purse at home. vendors look at that stuff

I am not hating- I just dont understand how a aisle runner is 10K or flowers 500K. The other stuff I get- the dress, food, music, rings. If I had the money I would get a Vera Wang too.

I don't hate her...I think it is ridiculous to pay that much for a wedding even if you have it.. It is totally for 'show' and not about the marriage...Political figures carry on about all the problems in the world and all the less fortunate...how about having a wedding for a smaller amount and feeding the hungry? This is all about the parents of both sides and not about the two getting married... It reminds me of Joan Rivers' daughters wedding and Star Jones and the focus was on the day and not the marriage.

so just b/c there are less fortunate u shouldnt have ur dream wedding??? sorry totally disagree with everything u said
more power to Chelsea, eventho I do think paying for an aisle runner 10K is redic and probably totally made up by the media. her wedding was so hush hush that all I heard before was rumors admittedly made up by the 'talking heads'

I'm with you on this one Kris. I think she is going to have a beautiful and elegant wedding and I can't wait to see pics.
Are there better things she could be doing with those hundreds of thousands of dollars? Absolutely. But who am I to judge?

i actually think there's a lot of hate on this site about people spending money and not just re chelsea. (specifically, i remember a post where people were criticizing how much other people spent on invitations)
i just think it's all relative. if you have the money to spend, why not spend it.

that post about the invitations was me..I believe every1 is entitled to their own opinion, not necessarily 'hating' on the other person. Everyone spends money on things they want to spend money.
