i went to the brefni (sp)? and the sally o brians in woodside. also jail house rock in ridgewood and o neils in maspeth.

jailhouse=glen-lo...

i've frequented all those places...

wow yeah its called glen-lo now it was the quiet man for awhile and also the lemo tree lol

Definitely the island park bars, but my regular place was Copperwaights/ EJ Rockwells. I swear, once I turned 21 I was way too old to be in there.

Tim Hickeys in Far Rockaway... ohh did I get sloppy there!! I drank sex on the beach out of a pitcher. EWWW. what was I thinking!!

The old Industry on Long Beach Road, then it was South Beach. Now its defunct.

The Bridge, Sally O's, High Tides, Blackwater, Rain Tower, the Beach Club - those are in Rockaway with the exception of Sally's.

I also went to Backdrafts, some place on Union Tpke - I cant remember the name!!, and later on in early college I went to Breffnis and O'Neills.

eta oh yes and can't forget the Crazy Moose!

The first bar I ever DJed at was the Breffni. Worked there for most of 1994.... Saturday Nights.

I also did Galloping Green, College Green, Sally Obriens, Yermans Pub, Skylights (VERY young crowd), and I opened Hoops. Those are just a couple of places out of many.

Man those were the days. I was in college... my regular job was only 5 hours a week. But I was making mad money DJing... usually 3-4 nights a week.

Now I work legit 21+ places.

In college:

The Pinewood, The Terminal (Broadway and 242nd St in the Bronx)

Characters (off of Broadway)

French Charlies a few times (Fordham bar) and the Roaring 20's a few times

we went out alot )

Hey Maribelle- I grew upparound those places and went to them when we didn't want to leave the neighborhood

THose were back in the early days for us-
4P's on Webster ave.
We also lived in Sullys on Eastchester Rd. every Thursday or Extra Innings on Williamsbridge Rd. ( long gone now)
