So who's the 'bread' winner - you or the FH?

How has this influenced your 'future' together, if at all?

For the that makes more than the does he ever bring it up?

Right now I make more than he does. It isn't a problem between us. He calls me his sugar momma!!! We live rent free because he's a live-in Superintendent so that makes up for it. He's saving me a lot of money a year in Rent so he likes to say 'he pays the rent' I say 'whatever makes you happy dear' We have a weird sense of humor.

We make around the same now, but as soon as I finish my masters I will make much more than him. It doesnt bother us and he also calls me his sugar mama

he makes way more then i do. there was a time when i made more then him, but that didn't last very long.

I make slightly more than him base salary (now). I also make a decent size bonus (which he does not get). But, after benefits (pension, vacation pay-out and a lot of other stuff I don't understand), He ends up making more than I do.

Plus, he does a lot of side work, which is all cash.

A make a very nice salary and his is 10 times nicer... which I am very happy about cause once I am pregnant I am ready for retirement!!!! Counting the days down,..

I own my own business so I make a lot more money than he does, salary wise. But he owns the house free and clear as well as investment properties, stocks, etc. So, all in all I think we wind up pretty equal.

FI makes more than I do. I wouldn't say it's had any influence on our future. We're pretty much on the same page. After saving for the wedding, we're going to save for a house.

My school district pays more than his school district but we both also do extra things to make more money. FI coachs football and baseball, and I coach Kickline and see private clients. I guess I make more but not a very large amount.

salary wise he makes more, but if you factor in the free tuition i get and all my benefits and vacation time i'm making more than him.

fh makes more $$ than me - but like someone else said - i am 'better' with my money. i am the saver, the investor, and the risk taker. it works for us....

I make more right now only because my FH is a law student, who knows what will happen after he graduates.

After I graduate I will be the bread winner. Hopefully eventually it will equal out if FH gets the promotions he wants. The only thing that concerns me at all is what will happen when I'm preggo and we have a drop in income. Otherwise it does not bother him and it does not bother me.
