I'm just curious to see what people say.
I know many of us are on a budget...
I'm definitely content with my wedding as is...but if I had more money to spend on my wedding, would I.....?

no - because it's one day.....
i'd put any extra money or anything towards a house, a future for our children....a new car, etc... something that's necessary...

i wouldn't do too much more...because i think house and future fund is more important...but maybe i'd get that photo booth.

now having gotten married i think that i would maybe go bigger on centerpieces or things like that.. but not change anything big like my hall or dress

But I'd want a band instead of a DJ, more elaborate floral arrangements, etc.
Do I think that it's necessary? No, definitely not. But I would have done things a little differently if I had the means.

i would too, but like i said if i had tons of money and was able to do so freely. ALot of people will answer that they'd rather put it towards a house but im saying if you can pay more for a wedding and still have plenty of money leftover for a house. There are people who can spend $500k, 1-2 million on a wedding and on top of that buy a huge home and even after all that still have left over, although this is going to the extreme.
But yeah if i had more to spend i probably would, not going to lie. I am doing what i want for the wedding so its not that but theres always things to add i guess

That's what I meant! If I can afford to throw tons of G's at a wedding, I'm SUREEEEEEEE I'd be able to have money for the 'important' stuff!

See I probably would! And im being honest... I would have done alot more and paid for alot more to be done for me. Thats just pure honesty!
and i would put some away for a house, but i would def spent alot more.

i aid no.. but i lied.. well kinda.
if i was a millionaire i would just hire some person to plan everything spend whatever they needed and leave me out of it.. its too stressful!

I've already spent on everything i want... but I am sure once I think of more things I want I will def be spending more.

Heck yeah!! If money was no object I would definitely spend more. Not trying to seem shallow...but even though it is only one day I am hoping and planning to only have one day like this in my lifetime. While I am very happy with everything that we have now it would be nice to have no budget restraints. I'm not sure exactly how much bigger, but there would definitely have been things I would have liked to have done. Bigger HM, pay for GM tuxes and BM dresses etc.

I would spend more on photography. The rest of the money would go towards the house.

If someone offered me $$$ that could only be spent on my wedding, take it or leave it, no strings attached I would absolutely take it.
The first thing i would do is pay back those who have had wedding-related expenses (namely my parents) and if anything was left over then the bridal party.
I would pay for flight/hotel for all of our OOT guests. I would also upgrade our honeymoon flights to first class, and go on a cruise for my bachelorette party, on me! (my girls dont have much $$$)
I would also bring in new chairs for our ceremony room.

Yes I'd have a full orchestra, a ton of flowers, I would think it would be awesome to hire a comedian to entertain during dinner, and I'd love to be able to write on my invites 'your presence is gift enough, please no gifts.' Oh well! Not in this lifetime.
