If you have a memorial candle, do you or are you still putting something to remember them by in your programs??
I think that I am going to do both. My minister suggested that I might want to have a memorial candle or votives to light the tapers for the unity candle.
I am doing both.....but my memorial candle will be at the hall with picture frames of my dad, my grandparents and FH's grandparents all on the same table.
I am only doing the memory candle. We are having their names announced at the ceremony. I just don't have enough room in the program to add their names.
If we do the memorial candle, that will be placed on the guestbook table at the reception hall, not at the church. We will still have a mention of them in our programs, which are just for those who come to the church/ceremony.
