How many in your party? How did you decide on them?
I'm having trouble. I feel like I can choose 3, 5 or 8!!!! Isn't 8 a lot?
Plus, I have one who I'm not even sure would say yes, but how do I go about that???
AND FH thinks it would be nice to have his brother's fiance (they got engaged last March), but I feel like she hasn't been around that long and they haven't even started talking about their wedding, so who knows if she'll still be around... I hate to say that, but it's true.
How do I decide? Please help!!!

I had 6. It was easy for me. My sister was a definite. 3 close girlfriends from hs were definite, and FHs 2 FSILs were a definite.
How many is FH having? You could base it on that. 8 seems like a lot and will cost you more money.

Because I have so many different groups of friends I decided to stick with just family. So I'm having 3 girls (my sister, and his two sisters)
It really worked out well, nobody was insulted, or hurt that they weren't in the bridal party.

1 Matron of Honor - My sister 8 BM's - 2 sisters, 2 cousins, 4 BFF's... 1 Jr. BM - Niece...
I chose them because i these are the people that ive known the longest.... obviously my 3 sisters, 2 cousins ive know my whole life... ive known my 4 friends since we were very little... i have pictures of us from 5 years old together...
i wouldnt have it any other way... i always knew this would be my bridal party

i have 9 (1 moh, 8 bms)....it is a lot but at the same time i wanted to include all my family and my best friends, i wanted all these girls in my wedding so i just went for it.

I've got 3. I chose them because I love them to death, I know 100% I can rely on them because I have been able to in the past and they feel the same way about me.
I would ONLY choose girls who you feel that way about...otherwise you are setting yourself up for disappointment.

We can't do this bc FH has 3 brothers and no sisters, and I have 1 bro and 1 sis (MOH). That would have made it easy, but..... plus he has like 75 guy cousins and 2 girl cousins....
I have friends from everywhere, too. I'm thinking 1 from childhood (who is now married to FH's cousin... we met through them), 2 from college, 3 from my adult life, and FH's FSIL...
I really want 6, but I don't know how to do that..... unless the one says no, and then I don't have to ask FSIL... (Am I a horrible person thinking this way??)

I honestly think that my sister will be the one giving me most of the trouble. All the other girls and I are solid!!!

I have 5 and we kept it family. I chose one of my cousins as my MOH, FH's sister-in-law, and then I have 3 cousins who each have a daughter and I chose them.

i had a tough time too! i could have had 4 - my sister, my SIL, FSIL and FHs best best friend (who is a girl but is married he is bff with her and her hubby), but then I wouldn't even have asked any of MY friends. I have 5 best friends but i didnt want NINE so I decided to ask the 2 of my best friends I have known the longest and a cousin- so in the end I have 7. It was a loooong convoluted process but in the end I am finding ways to incorporate my other girls (they are witnessing the ketubah signing and doing some other Jewish traditions). So I think everyone is okay with the end result. I hope

2 MOH's - my sisters FSIL BFF since we were 6 BFF since we were 13 BFF since I met FH (met her through FH) BFF and old college roommate

im having 5 including my moh. my moh has been my best friend and really like a sister to me since weve been in 1st grade...always knew shed be my moh
another 3 girls are my really really good friends who ive been friends with for years or 1 of them ive known less but she is a great friend and i know well be friends for years to come
the 5th girl i asked a few months after i originally chose the first 4. she is now a good friend. we we became much closer right before i got engaged and then continued to get close afterwards. she is also one of my other bms sister in laws so i know she will be around for a long time and hopefully good friends for a long time

I had 4 plus a flowergirl....I have been in weddings where there were 4 of us and then 10 of us. I will say having been in a LARGE bridal party, it is more difficult, its hard to have all the girls agree on a dress and what not. But honestly, if you have a lot of patience it doesn't matter and its really up to you.

i only stuck with family as well. i didn't want my BP getting too big b/c then it would have been too costly.. i selected my sister as my MOH, my cousin as one BM, his cousin as another BM, and my two younger cousins as junior BM's. we went w/ family w/ the guys as well between his brothers, my brother and our cousins.
