How many in your party? How did you decide on them?
I'm having trouble. I feel like I can choose 3, 5 or 8!!!! Isn't 8 a lot?
Plus, I have one who I'm not even sure would say yes, but how do I go about that???
AND FH thinks it would be nice to have his brother's fiance (they got engaged last March), but I feel like she hasn't been around that long and they haven't even started talking about their wedding, so who knows if she'll still be around... I hate to say that, but it's true.
How do I decide? Please help!!!
TIA

Re: spinoff to the How much $ on BMs thread...
this was a major problem for me ... i don't have too many girlfriends ...
I ended up with 1 MOH and 2 BMs. The MOH is the person i've actually known the least amount of time (about 2 years now) but we hang out ALL THE TIME. I've known one BM since I was 7 years old, and the other was my college roommate.
FH tried convincing me to use his two sisters-in-law but i absolutely refused. They are not my friends and do not 'deserve' to be my bridesmaids.
if you have 8, i don't think it's too many ... but keep in mind that it does add to your cost (you pay for their gifts, bouquets, possibly hair and makeup, etc)

i have 5: moh is my sister, bms are my half sister, fsil, my best friend from hs and my best friend from college
you should have who you are closest to! if you're close to fbils fiance then ask her, if not, then don't. 8 is big but manageable -- if you have 8 people who you couldn't say no to, then ask all 8 of them! just remember... you have to buy them all gifts

Re: spinoff to the How much $ on BMs thread...
I have 2 MOHs, 8 BMs, 1 JR BM, & 1 FG... they were the people that I really wanted and I'm very happy with them. Go with what makes you happy; don't get hung up on a number.

Re: spinoff to the How much $ on BMs thread...
i have: 1 MOH 7 BM's 2 or 3 FG's (depends if him and his bro ever speak again)
he has: 1 BM 6 or 7 GM's (depends if him and his bro ever speak again 1 or 2 RB's (depends if him and his bro ever speak again
oh the stress
he has a very close group of guys and 2 bros, that was easy. I was MOH 3 times, and have other close friends that it just felt right asking...and whose BP's i was recently in also... they are my grils. only 60% regret one right now. dying to vent about it to everyone, but scared to put it up here
