Spinoff -- What's the most romantic date you have ever been on?

I took FW to the Bubble Lounge.
We went to a dimly lit French restaurant called Gascogne on 8th Ave. and 17th. Then, we took a carraige ride through the Park.

Thanks Man! You Rock!
It only took my 32 years to perfect this... frankly, my dating history was lousy.

FH did this twice, and the 2nd time it was a surprise. At Disney, in the Contemporary resort, there's a restaraunt on the 15th floor called the California Gril. It's the BEST food I've ever had, but it's very expensive. The BEST part is that FH got reservations for during the fireworks. They dim the lights and pipe in the music and you have a panoramic view of the magi kinddom and the fireworks are right outside the windows. SO amazing! And very special to us because we got engaged right before the fireworks! The first time he took me was actually the night before he proposed, and it was so romantic that he told me later that he'd wished he'd had the ring on him b/c he would have asked me right then and there!

I don't think I've ever been on a romantic date. I'm not into it. 'Romantic'-y things make me laugh hysterically. What's wrong with me?

Our most romantic date was when we were only dating a month or so on a very clear fall night FH brought me into the backyard and told me to wait there. He came out with a blanket, threw it on the ground and we laid on our backs just looking at the stars, talking and holding hands.

Too funny cause I was gonna kinda say the same thing (not that it necessarily makes me hysterical) ...

My FH and I just went to Gascogne!!! Wasn't it awesome! Did you sit outside? We went through 2 bottles of wine and sat out there forever. Love that place. Good choice!

It was one of our first dates...Dh came by my house at like 4 am & knocked on my window, then told me to dress in layers, so I did, he then drove me out to Montauk for breakfast (which is one of my most favourite things to do) at Mr. John's pancake house. I love it b/c we got there right when it opened & there was hardly anyone else around, even though it was in the midle of the summer. even when we went to the beach it was sucha beautiful day, very cooll out with a nice breeze.
