I once had my exboyfriends present girlfriend (she didn't know I was his ex) tell me that I was really pretty in a plain kind of way.

Oh I have some good ones... alot have to do w/ my pregnancy

About a week after I had my son I ran into babies r us for diapers and some woman asked me when I was due!! She was so embarassed but I kind of understood.. I was still a little offended.

Also one of my best friends moms whom I have known since birth was in my hospital room visiting me the day after I had my son.. and she turned to her daughter ( who is the same age as me) and goes 'yeah I know hes cute and all but you better not think about having one!! I rather you buy more of your little baby lizards'
I haven't spoken to her since!

Some guy I was 'seeing' a few years ago was talking to me about the day we met. I had been with a girl friend of mine and he turned to me and said ' yeah I was really interested in her at first but then you grew on me'

I had someone at work point at my stomach and ask if I was Pregnant. (I wasn't)

This guy felt so stupid, and now how will hate him forever. So now everytime he sees me he totally overcompensates and calls me pretty, etc.

Drives me CRAZY!

A few years ago I was working a job in a Dr's office, hours were 7am-3pm, I was taking a fall class, and running really short on money, so around the holidays, I picked up a part time job at Kohls.....it was first night there, the store was absolutley recked, and I was just informed that we had to stay until 1am for some kind of inventory thing. I was sooo tired, I had this huge lab project due, I had worked that morning, I was exhausted, and I burst into tears...and the girl working in the department looked at me and said, 'oh, it'll be ok. When are you due?' I WAS NOT PREGNANT. I quit right then, and lost 20 lbs in the 6 months after.

I know she meant it kindly but there was a rather LOOOOONG awkward silence afterwards!

At least they love you! PLEASe be SO grateful for that!

Oh, believe me, I know!! One of my college boyfriends' mothers was such a b!tch about it. She NEVER called me by my name, she called me only Shiksa. She tried to set him up on dates with girls from the Yeshiva she worked at and she used to quiz me when I saw her... things like 'What was the story of Abraham?' and 'What is your Hebrew name?'. She was a psycho anyway but it was sooooooooooooooo awful. Whenever my FMIL gets on my nerves, I think how much luckier I am with this family than I would have been with that one!

i was speaking to my fmil about my wedding dress, don't have one yet, but we were speaking in generalities. so she comes out with, 'well, you can't wear a strapless dress b/c you have no boobs!!' w t f is up with that. this was in front on my ffil and friends of theres. i said, yes i do and left it at that. fat cow!!!!!!

When I was about 13 or so, my parents and I went on vacation to the Poconos. There was another teenaged guy there who was flirting with me. I guess he was trying to be all romantic, and he actually said to me, 'you're eyes look like the Hudson River.' I have brown eyes. Nice.

I was at a Halloween Party with Tom once, with his work buddies.
I had recently lost about 30 pounds, and Tom had an old picture of me on his desk at work, and the guys he works with had never seen me in person.....so his boss was drinking....starts looking me up and down and then says 'You don't look as fat as you do in that picture on Tom's desk'
Then, he kept going....saying things like 'I was always wondering who the fat chick on his desk was'.....and such....I still can't stand the guy to this day!!!
