First, let me say that your husband looks SO HAPPY to be marrying the love of his life in those pics! He has the biggest grin on when you are walking down the aisle! You look stunning and the pic where he is kissing the top of your head is adorable! I love it!
I think they look beautiful but maybe seeing them formatted together in an album, where the pics tell the story of your wedding, will help bring out what that 'wow' factor that you are looking for. It will look much different in the album than it does as a huge chunk of proofs.

I just looked through most of your pictures and I honestly think they came out beautiful. I think you do have a variety of shots in there and some really great candids as well as posed shots. I did see a few pictures with eyes closed and such but i still think you have such a wide variety and there were only a few like that. You looked very beautiful and I particularly love the church pictures. Very nice!

I gotta be completely honest here - Alana, you MUST be PMS'ing because the pics are great! I've gotten about half way through and you look truly beautiful. Even in the low resolution they use for online posting, the colors look great. I see a lot of pictures where the true emotion of the day and in people are shown (too bad I couldn't copy any of these to post here!) but there's one where your hubby sees you coming down the aisle, the ones of you guys hugging, a beautiful one of you on the stairs, etc. etc.
I think like someone posted above, maybe for you it would be good to see some in an album layout to see the full 'story'... honestly, we sometimes expect SOOOO much because brides come back from their weddings and do their reviews with the best pictures representing their weddings. I'm sure most of them also have 800-1500 pics, but they choose the top 30 or whatever that are really awesome and so we as brides to be maybe expect them all to be great (not trying to insinuate you think this way, but just as a generalization)... what I'm trying to say is - not every picture will be album or framing potential and that's ok. The important thing is that you have some truuuuuly beautiful pics to choose from and some that you can just keep as proofs to look back on as memories.

Also, if you are still unhappy...
There's always a 'day after' shoot you could do if you want.
Although, personally, I don't think it is necessary.
But it is an option.

Oh, and just to add - a lot of the '06 Duet brides posted that they found some great shots on their CD's that weren't printed as proofs so be SURE to ask them for the CD right away so that you can see if there is something in there you love.

And your husband looks so happy. I agree with some previous posts about the resolution. It's hard to see how many great shots there are without the editing and the resolution issues.
I think they'll come out great after all is said and done. They're just raw shots.

GREAT POINT MRS. Q.!!!!!!!!! I think you are right-on with this point. I am glad you said it because I think I felt that way, that ever shot should be perfect. But clearly that is not possible, but our heads get clouded seeing so many beautiful pics from so many brides.

I think the pictures are beautiful. You looked amazing and the emotions they captured is so wonderful. Yeah, there are some 'off' shots where you seem to be caught a little off guard, but with over 800 pictures, that's bound to happen. One of my eyes is a little lazy and when I take tons of pictures, many of them come out where it looks like my one eye is closed. I hate it, but it happens when you're capturing a single second in time. Although I think you have some amazing shots to work with, if you're that unhappy, ask them to do a day after shoot for free.

You just gave me SUCH a scare!!!!!!!! I am using Duet and I just freaked at the thought of BAD pictures.....But after viewing them, What the Hell are you talking about?????????? There are MANY pictures I really like! The church pictures are very nice, I like the picture of your girls bracelet, the flower pictures, the picture by the piano with your MOH (I'm assuming) those are all really nice!!!! The pic of you and FH dancing....Come one I think those are all great!!!! The candid shots of your husband getting dressed! I swear I think they did a great job for you. Now if you're talking about you don't like your appearence on the pictures that's adifferent story, this is more about the way your feeling about the way you look. But the pictures in my opinion are excellent. Women are very hard on themselves (me included) your wedding pictures are wonderful I don't hink you should be worried at all!!!! Alana! I am convinced that you are NUTS! The pics are great and you look GORGEOUS! :You have one of the SWEETEST faces I have ever seen. And your DH looks so insanely crazy about you... totally the look of love. I seen at least 10 pics that would look GREAT for a TY card. I particuarly like the one of the two of you on the dance floor facing the camera (2 pics after the last one of you coming under the BP's arms).
