Spinoff...where did you go on your first date?

First dinner together...Charlie Brown's...which was not technically a date...

First offical date, when I fell in love...he cooked dinner for me....

well there was a HUGE snowstorm so instead of going out saturday night for dinner we met on sunday, luckily i had a truck to get through the snow lol bc his was stuck haha. We went to this lounge in astoria, and had the best time, we stayed for hours drinking and having dessert. We always go back to that place bc we always have a great time there

Our 2nd date which was more formal and 2 days later was at riverview in LIC, it was v-day.

it was actually at a bar on austin street in forest hills . I met him through J-date and just in case it wasn't going to go well, I wanted an easy out . We were just going to meet for one drink, which turned into five drinks , and the rest is history

We met online over 6 years ago. I live din NYC at the time. We joked about loving hot dogs so I took him to an upscale hot dog place in Chelsea called F&B's. He said it wasn't like the NJ hot dog places near him - this is on my LI weddings site I think... Anyway... we then went to my fave NYC bar called Library on Avenue A - they had a great juke box which is why I wanted to take him there. We hung out w/all my friends and by the end of the night we were holding hands

we saw Joy Ride - that was our first 'official date'

the Holbrook Diner and then to the movies. Hey, we were young - diners were all that I eat!!

ETS: He still makes fun of me that I picked a diner when he asked me where I wanted to go for dinner. I'll never hear the end of it!!

I can't really recall what was our first date it was also a sticky situation...fh still had a g/f that was on her way out but wouldn't quite go but the first night we met out for drinks in Freeport on the Nautical Mile than went for some apps in RVC and than back to my place...but nothinggg happened! We still talk about it to this day that i made him wait 4 months but it was worth the wait

We went to a neighborhood bar right around the corner from my house We still hang out there.

the back seat of FHs car just kidding! well half kidding more like the front seat

ummm i dont really remember actually - its a little foggy - i guess we were kind of sneaking around - he still kind of had a g/f and my ex b/f was a psycho and would stalk me - literally stalk me - sit in his car parked in my neighborhood where he could still see my house and he would just wait there all night to see who picked me up, dropped me off, what i was doing - it was bananas! - so there were a lot of late nights just getting coffee and bs'ing in his car or at 'our spot' - which is actually where we had our eparty - im not even sure when we had our first official date - somehow we just ended up hanging out all the time, then living together, then engaged

sh!t happens!

DH and I met on a blind date through a mutual acquaintance (former friend).

We all went out as a group (3 couples so if I didn't like DH I wouldn't be like stuck or anything) and we went out to dinner at this lousy bar in Rosedale, Queens (by 5 Towns) - I don't recall the name atm- the food stunk but at least I had DH to talk to.

From there we went to a club and we all either sat at the bar, played air hockey and pool and sang karoke (DH even sang a song for me!).

What sticks out in my mind is that it was my turn to shoot (pool) he didn't call me Danielle- he called me Denise. We were both really lucky that I liked him so much that I still gave him my phone number at the end of the night.

I don't know if this counts as a 'date', but it ended up being one. We had just met on a ski trip through mutual friends and were very smitten with each other right away. After the trip, we spoke on the phone and decided to 'hang out'. The first time we went out together, we went to Gillian's and then went to Chilis for margaritas. Over margaritas we kind of laid our cards on the table and said how we couldn't stop thinking about each other and how we needed to end things with the people we were seeing.

Our first official date as a couple was on Valentines Day ( a week or two later). We went to Metro Grille on 34th and 6th, then to the Comedy Cellar and then to a bar/lounge on Bleeker street. I didn't get home til 5am. It was an amazing date. The best was that I took a cab back home to my parent's house in the bronx and woke my dad up when I came in. Just then, FH called my cell to make sure I got home okay. He scored major brownie points with my dad right off the bat!

OK so I'm not the only one with a little bit of sketchy start lol I was still with my boyfriend at the time and the night we met at a party he told me he was going to marry me I was like 'yea ok right I have a bf'
But I told him we would hang out one night, I thought as friends so I actually ended up inviting some other friend to meet us at the Brew Haus in Farmingdale...he acted cool then and we left and got coffee on our own but he told me once we were 'official' that he was soo pissed there were other guys there.

ours too, we walked on the boardwalk and then went down to the water and sat on the beach for a while (it was at night)

it will be 10 years ago in 4 days...he took me to mcdonalds (big spender...lol...) and then we went to the movies to see good will hunting.

i can't believe that was 10 years ago. now i really feel old.
