Spitz and Peck

Spitz and Peck

I have to use them because the are contracted to do the flowers at my RH. They are totally out of our price range but we have no choice at this point. I think they will do a great job but still way to expensive!

Anyway, I contacted them recently to see what they came up with for my total bill. I already paid them $500 for the initial deposit. The contract says an additional 30% is due 30 days prior to the affair. I called them to ask how much that would be and they said they don't know the total yet because I don't know how many tables I am having.
Then the lady said well you can just send us a check for $1500. So what if I over pay? The first visit I had with them I found out the total would be around $1900 + but I removed lots of items I didn't want.

So do I send the money now or wait until I know how many tables I am having? I just don't want to pay all this money before they even do anything for us!!

Sorry for the long post but I am frustrated!!!

I would wait until you find out how may tables you are having which you should be able to ask your RH with a quick phone call. Usually tables are 10-12 seats and then it depends on your minimum you guaranteed in your room.
I ended up having two extra CP because I paid and couldn't get a refund. We used them in the CH and the placecard table.

I am dreading meeting with them - our RH has a contract with them and another place and I hear they are both $$$. I am considering making my own CP's because I really am not interested in overpaying for flowers. I guess I'll just meet with them and find out. Sorry I can't offer any help - good luck!
