I always see people make excuses for young girls, but i think its time we stop doing that. They're wrong and they need to know that, i mean no wonder girls are out there so wild and crazy bc they can turn around and give a sob story and everybody will feel bad for them. So young girls see this and think they can go around acting trashy bc people will just feel bad for them. All our society ever shows is that its ok to be trashy, i mean look at even these celebs. This is the message we give young girls 'its ok to be in rehab by 21' 'its great to have a s*x tape out bc it makes you famous' 'its ok to be a prostitute' i really hope things change by the time i have kids, this is real sad.

I totally agree with you. It seems more and more things that should be not in the spot light for young kids to see is being pushed in their faces.

I believe in right and wrong. I wonder how she got where she was but I still think she is wrong.

yeah i read about that, but i think she means like freaky stuffy. Maybe S&M and things like that.

OH boy. What is annoying, is I am sure the media coverage will be talking nonstop about this 24-7 & ignoring other things. I could care less what some perv does in his bedroom, as long as he is not messing with a minor.

What scares me is this morning they quickly rush over news like when in iraq the soldier fired a warning shot into a mound of dirt not knowing that a scared little iraqi girl was hiding behind it so she would get hurt and was killed. or how the chinese markets are soo freaked out by our market that they are selling off like crazy in the biggest slide they seen.

But noo we are going to hear about the bedroom antics of a once powerful (& one with stupid personal judgement) man.

UGH. i am annoyed. sry had to vent that about the media coverage.

i dont think its a big deal that she is a prostitute - i actually think prostitution should be legal....its her choice and if thats what she wants to do so be it....as far as not paying taxes im sure a lot of us have had jobs in the past there were off the books - i know i did....

I agree with you though. I mean when you think about it, what about strippers? Is dancing nude for money a moral thing to do? Yes, I know this is completely different than prostitution because of STDs, AIDs and pregnancy, I'm speaking in reference to what people are considering moral.

My opinion is that I don't care what people (those I don't know) do with their life. Sex is sex. Who cares if you pay for it or get paid for it? The unprotected part bothers me and upsets me because of the threat of aids and the possibility of affecting others.

i just dont think that now she should be viewed as a victim. She made her own bed and its one thing to not care what she does bc thats understandable but for her to be given her 15 minutes of fame and put up on a pedestal. Also the whole pity party for her.

I mean think about his children, do you think they'll feel bad and what about his wife. Again sex is sex and if its single people then they can bang their brains out for all i care. But a girl who is willing to do that disgusts me, for the rest of his kids life they will have to live with this. I hope she gets what she deserves and goes through h*ll for it

if she slept with your father and ruined your life and destroyed your household would you still feel bad for her. Her and spitzer can go to h*ll for all i care. If some girl slept with any of your dh's would you feel bad for the girl?

those are the reasons i think prositution should be legal - so workers and clients can be tested, screened and it might force more people to use protection - people are obviously paying for sex now and its illegal so by making it legal it at least might make it safer - strippers and porn starts people use their boies to make money - and hey some people enjoy sex so why not make 5500 an hour for it isnt it the oldest profession? hahahaha

i respect a porn star more, if you go by the theory that its their business and if they enjoiy it why not make money, well porn stars do that. Here is why i respect a porn star more than this dupree girl. A porn star is having sex with other porn stars who are either single or if they are married their wives know about it and allow it or their wives are also in the business. This girl is destroying someones life, i wouldnt care if she was sleeping with a single guy, i'd still say she was wrong but its her life, well in this case she is playing with others lives so this situation is different since he is married with kids, that i cant agree to at all. She is willing to make money at any cost, doesnt care who she steps on or how many lives she destroys

I don't pity her and never will. All I said was she is a beautiful girl and if she can command that type of money she must be very talented. And I feel horrible for his three kids. I really couldn't care about Spitzer or his hooker. But I don't think she deserves to go through hell for selling sex for money.

Well first off I would like to go on the record and say that I always thought Spitzer looked skeevey. Everyone is upset because 'he's married', as far as I'm concerned, he's not my husband and he didn't cheat on me. That's a personal issue him and his family have to deal with. I think the bigger problem is that he was a part of illegal activity. FH tells me that it was said that Spitzer and his wife have not had an intimate relationship for a long time. No one knows what the details were of thier marriage, maybe she knew about his extracurricular activities, maybe she didn't. I think the issue here should be that he did something illegal and that was paying for a High price hooker. For 'Kristen' on the other hand she should be dealt with just the way any other prostitute would be. Charge her with whatever charges apply to her crime. But, we won't hear much about her except about her myspace page and how horrible her life was because now she has to be painted as a victim who fell prey to these big powerful men. Oh Please cry me a river, build a bridge and get over it!
