that is what shocked me most about this story its like ok he cheated, he is corrupt blah blah blah no surpprise but $5500 an hour what do these girls do for that. I would be embarrassed to know that my child was selling their selves. However strippers and porn stars do that to an extent too. I could never look at someone I knew the same. I think it is part of who raised you and how.. and also Respect for yourself not just wanting the money.

i find it so interesting why women turn to prostitution - sometimes i can understand it ((almost)) but i will always watch those documentaries on it.

I dont know how true this is bc my source is Opie and Anthony, LOL but a caller said she came from a wealthy family - her dad is a dentist. . .

they must be so proud

but honestly, i really do try not to judge bc who knows how she got to this point. . .its the world's oldest profession and many paths seem to lead to it!

I was thinking the same thing - she's a 'high class' call girl.

From what I read she had a really hard childhood and has bounced all over the place doing different things. Her myspace said she had been broke, homeless, on drugs, etc.

yes it is spitzers fault he is a dumb@$$ and he was doing something illegal and he got caught and should suffer the consequences. BUT so should she. She was prostituting herself. That is illegal!!!!!! And I think her having a hard life is just a cop out. I mean I learned alot about personalities and what type of people from certain backgrounds get into certain situations from studying psych in undergrad. BUT that doesnt mean she had to go out and put herself out there to have sex with men for $1000 a night. AND I do NOT feel bad for her that she will lose her apt that she is scared of losing since she can't pay rent. Well maybe if she was a decent girl she could have gotten a decent job working legally and be able to make some good of herself. Please there are people who are suffering every day with struggles in their lives and they dont go out and prostitute themselves or deal drugs (some do yes but its about fighting that and getting past that)

ok haha now that i went into my own little saga about that....i think spitzers resiging is ALL his fault but just as he is getting punished she should too- IMO!!!

I think Prostitution is a matter of personal belief and choices. If this was happening in Nevada, only the govener would be in trouble not the girl. Don't you think? Prostitution is legal there and how some women make their money...should they be judged for their choice of profession?

oh yeah such a hard life, her pic of herself on myspace in st. tropez is so heartbreaking i feel so bad for her. It is a cop out, i mean is that the answer? when times are bad its ok to be a prostitute. By feeling bad for her its saying what she did was ok. Theres tons of people in this world who had a hard life, women out there who not only have to support themselves but also children and they go out there and bust their A** to put food on the table. This girl didnt do this to get by, she did this bc she didnt want to make money just to pay bills and things like that, she wanted an extravagant life. She wanted to travel, have expensive things without a 9-5 job and thats it.

All in all...no one has the right to judge this girl. Yes she's a prostitute in the wrong State, but withing the US itself, some places it is legal!
No one has a right to judge anyone else, none of us are perfect. I think Spitzer betrayed his family and everything he stood for. He's a hypocrite!!

I dont think people are perfect and i am far from it. We have all made mistakes in our lives and probably things we wish we could go back and change. If this was a girl who had an affair with him i would still look badly at her bc well he is married with kids and i am very against that BUT i would still view it a bit different. We're not talking about a girl who just had a one night stand with him, having an affair to say its a mistake. The girl is a prostitute, and although i can look at people and say we all make mistakes this takes it a step too far.

THANK YOU. I mean the issue to me isn't whether they pay taxes, i could care less. Hey theres people who have honest jobs and dont pay their taxes. To me its the moral side of it and illegal side of it. You can have mobsters who pay taxes, i won't be ok with them killing people.

I always see people make excuses for young girls, but i think its time we stop doing that. They're wrong and they need to know that, i mean no wonder girls are out there so wild and crazy bc they can turn around and give a sob story and everybody will feel bad for them. So young girls see this and think they can go around acting trashy bc people will just feel bad for them. All our society ever shows is that its ok to be trashy, i mean look at even these celebs. This is the message we give young girls 'its ok to be in rehab by 21' 'its great to have a s*x tape out bc it makes you famous' 'its ok to be a prostitute' i really hope things change by the time i have kids, this is real sad.
