I am not doing fabric and have read that some people have done spray paint and acrylic paint. What do you think is the best way to go?

Re: Spray paint or Acrylic?...DIY card box
I'm not a master at painting by my FH is. he worked the paint department for many years so his opinion is...
If it's a cardboard box, It's faster and cheaper with spray paint, but harder to get the paint on evenly. You would have to do lots of long, thin coats. Acrylic paint would take longer, would probably be more costly, but will give better results if you've never painted with either of these before because you don't need real 'practice' using the spray can correctly.
He recommends practicing on a small piece of similar material before you start.
If it's a metal like box, the spray paint is the only way to go. The acrylic will not stay right and would feel weird.
FM me if you have any specific questions and I'll squeeze some more info out of him lol
