SS2002...lots of info on the tea salon!!
I stopped in the tea salon...I`m so glad I did!! What a delightful little place! Ok, here`s the scoop:
The name is Boston Tea Party. It is located on Merrick Rd. in Amityville...it is the western part of Amityville, almost Massapequa. The place is located inside of an old house...very quaint!! It is a small place, it could seat 23 for a party. Oh, to have a bridal shower, the minimum is 13, and you get the whole little room to yourselves!!...and they do the showers on Sunday, I`m not sure why. The place is decorated like it just came out of a little dollhouse...I just fell in love with it!
Anyway, they have this thing called 'Afternoon Tea Party'. For a set price (she said for a shower, the price would be $18.95/person plus tax and tip) they serve a selection of tea sandwiches and hors d`oeuvres, scones with jelly, assorted pastries and tea cakes, and pots of tea and coffee. How adorable is that??!! Or, you can order individual sandwiches from their regular menu (which all look scrumptious to me!!)
