Re: St Lucia

We thought about going to Sandals in St. Lucia, We changed our minds in December. We had spent a lot of time on Trip Advisor, and there were just too many negative reviews.

In my opinion Sandals is one of the more expensive all inclusives, and I did not want to spend so much, just to be dissappointed.

I haven't been but when the morning show from Z100 went last week they stayed at the Coco Palm and said it was beautiful. They said it's one of the lesser known hotels on the island but they treat you like royalty. http://coco-resorts.com/palm.htm

Re: St Lucia

I heard great things about sandals in St. Lucia (my friend just got back from there and LOVED it). The only thing I heard a little negative was that the food was ok, not bad, but ok. Other than that I heard very good things about sandals in St. Lucia.

I went to St Lucia for my honeymoon in November and stayed at the Jalousie Plantation which was once owned by Hilton. It's located in the most tropical part of the island, the rain forest. Although it rains off and on throughout the day it was truly AMAZING and aboslutely GORGEOUS!! It's located right in between the Grande Piton and the Petit Piton and sits on a BEAUTIFUL beach.

Feel free to FM if you have any questions.

Re: St Lucia

We just got back from staying at the Sandals Grande for 10 days. We also visited the other two locations. We had a WONDERFUL experience. I was nervous because I had read bad reviews also, but honestly everything was so clean, the food was good, the staff was amazing, the property was beautiful, I never felt it was crowded. We definitely feel like we got our money's worth. We are used to eating out a lot in NYC, so we were nervous that the food might not live up to what we are used to-but almost all of it we would rate as good to very good.

We did a tour of the Island and I would not want to stay at a hotel on St. Lucia that wasn't all- inclusive. The villages are small and there didn't seem to be to many local places to eat. It is a beautiful place and I am sure whatever you end up doing you will have a great time. FM me if you have any questions.
