we reaaaaaaaaaally wanted to go to Turks but found out its hurricane season in Oct, so there goes that..........
we are now looking into St Lucia......FH just spoke to TA who recommended Jade Mtn in St Lucia........its completely WAY over the price range BUT I saw pics and now I want to go LOL....
what makes ME cry is that im giving up a honeymoon of a lifetime to go to ur stinkin wedding and now youre posting THIS?!!?!?!?!?

I wouldn't let hurricane season keep you back from booking your HM. Call me crazy. Hurricane season is so long, I think from June - November. I don't know what the odds are, but I say go for what you want to do. Maybe you can do both, if you're doing a long HM.

That's a long HM, price it out, it might be the same as staying in one place the whole time. Flights are cheap right now.

I hear that Jade Mountain is really lovely!!! It's like one of the best spots!! But it's really pricey but totally worth it if you have the $$$

its still hurriCane in st lucia too.. any island you go to during that time will be hurricane season.. unless u go to Hawaii , Aruba, or Costa Rica - (They have their own rainy season)..
That was my main concern with bookin my honeymoon destination cause I didnt want to deal with bad weather. ofcourse you can have bad weather anytime really but sept /oct is the worst time for Island weather.. try and stay clear if you can.. ONly talken as a travel agent so I just know how it can be during that time
If your askin me my non-travel agent opinion I say who the heck cares and just go where u want to go!!!! LOL

hurricane season is from the end of july through the end of october. u may just miss it.. :) last year i was in domenican and they extended hurricane season to end of november. i was soo pissed and they had a storm the first 3 days i was there.. My FH actually proposed to me horseback riding in the middle of the storm, LOL. IT WAS TOO FUNNY!!

Yea it's hurricane season there too.. I was also hoping to go to Turks (Parrot Cay is a dream) it's my favorite islands, best water I've seen across the caribbean and hawaii. Look into southern caribbean islands, like the ABC islands (Aruba, Bonaire, and Curacao), they are not part of the hurricane belt. Jade mountain looks gorgeous, another pro of taking your chances is prices are a bit lower then, it's off season.

ugh its GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!! FH surprisingly didn't laugh at me bc he wants to go to!! we are trying to see what we can do $ wise. Maybe we will stay like 5 days at Jade and then go somewhere else in St Lucia for the remainder??? i am DEFFFFFFFFF keeping m fingers crossed!
