I would love to know a good place for a honeymoon also! Are sandals not good because it's ALL honeymooners, or is that better?

I personally love kids and want some of my own one day but for my honeymoon dont really want to be around children so i think it is better. I know many people who actually met couples there to hang out with which is pretty cool.

I am actually headed to the new Sandals in St. Lucia this April! It's called 'Sandals Grande St. Lucian' and it is beautiful! I was able to get a great price because it's just opening in October. You should check with your travel agent as well.

I dont know lisa I am so confused, I wanted to go there but the travel agent was telling me that since there is so much ecotourism that it would be a waste to go and just sit on the beach. Then she mentioned that it may be a little more rustic than what i am looking for and my FH was totally turned off so i am looking into other options but I am still not totally counting it out, This is the hardest part by far.

Tara we went to St. Lucia and we stayed at Le Sport. It is called the body holiday, it was absolutley fantastic. All the spa treatments all the drink are included, they treat you well, from the minute you walk in. The new sandals that is opening up used to be a hilton but closed due to low occupancy. Anywhere you stay will be lovely, St Lucia is beautiful

We booked the new Grande St. Lucian for our april honeymoon too! I looked into a lot of places, but St. Lucia seems like the best deal. It also seems very romantic! I cant wait to go.

What do the Sandals prices usually run? I'm inbetween the Sandals St. Lucia golf and Spa & a cruise to the Southern Carribbean. I'm totally confused!!

That depends on what time of year you go. It is cheaper more towards the summer, and more Expensive during the cold months here.
You get your $$$ worth with an all-inclusive.

The prices on the website seemed like alot like 6 grand for a nicer room i think, Hawaii can cost that much!

Jodi, Sept is hurricane season, although in Hawaii, there is no hurricane season, so I'm going there.

Tara: St. Lucia is suppossed to be gorgeous !!!!!
My girlfriend stayed at Sandals in St.Lucia the main one there now, not the new one, and she had a great time, she said she could not have imagined a better honeymoon.
Shamma also stayed at a spa resort as she told you, and she raved about it.
So I think anywhere in St. Lucia will be excellent.

About the cost, I'm getting my 10 nights in Hyatt Hawaii, Maui, and Kauai for $5500, which is the same for Sandals probably, but there is no all-inclusive. I get breakfast every morning, but all my other meals are on me. I do, however, get all airfare and a rental the entire time I'm there included in the price.
With Sandals, all is included, all meals, drinks. No rental included, but you most likely wont need it b/c there is so much to do on the resort.

You really have to do your homework to decide a HM. What is important to you in a honeymoon?
Are you looking for a very modern location, or a more remote, natural beauty type deal.
Are you looking for nightlife? Tropical surroundings? Beach? Spa resort?
Do you want meals and drinks included in your price? Do you want somewhere you can explore and take day trips and tours?
What budget are you working with?
Do you want something glamourous?

Once you can answer these questions, you can eliminate some HM spots and narrow it down.
Hope this helps.

Re: St. Lucia Brides

OK ladies. I did a search for you. It seems there is only 1 all-inclusive in Bermuda. It seems fairly new and nice. Here's a brief description:

Harmony Club is Bermuda's Only All-Inclusive Resort. Abundant in both historical elegance and amenities, its traditional Bermudian cottage-style architecture projects the intimacy of a private country hideaway in a setting of exquisite gardens. Yet this classic resort is close to Bermuda's famed beaches, Hamilton's shops and night spots.
There is no extra charge for guest privileges. Harmony Club is the only hotel in Bermuda that is double occupancy only and also caters to adults only. Guests are 18 years and over. Small groups and incentives are welcome.

Here is the web page.

It is at Harmony Club
