Re: St. Lucia Brides

I think Bermuda will be too cold in May but FH is really into the Hawaii thing, I dont know Sandals seems nice but it seems like alot of money when you can go to Hawaii for just a little bit more. Liz I remember you mentioning that Hyatt hopper thing and plan on trying to contact a travel agent about it soon but am trying to narrow down the places first.

I do love natural beauty but I am a stickler for a nice lavish room with the jacuzzi and what not. I kind of did the all inclusive deal with Cancun Palace a couple years ago and although it was great I kind of feel like doing something different. We are into a variety of things but not too much activity and that is why kaui would be a definite part of our choice if we choose Hawaii.

Brazil I think is kinda scary curly just do your homework but this is what I have heard.

If you are spending 5500 liz how much do they tell you to budget for food and activites while you are there? at least 1k I would think. Also is 10 days enough in Hawaii or do you need two weeks?

Tara, I am paying $5500, using the Hyatt Hopper, air fares included for 2 islands, 10 nights, breakfast every morning, rental the entire time.
I will love the natural beauty of Hawaii, especially Kauai, but will also enjoy the lavish and fancy Hyatt.
Maui is where we'll be doing most of our adventures, and Kauai is where we'll be taking in the beauty and getting spa treatments

I would LOVE to go for 2 weeks, of course then the price would go up, but realistically I want to get back home in time to rest for a few days before I have to go back to work, so 2 weeks would be too much for me. I think 10 days is enough for 2 islands. If you want to do 3 islands, then you would probably be more comfortable with 2 weeks.

Spending money, we have to pay for our dinners and activites. We are planning about $2000. but I heard many say they spend about $1000. We just don't want to have to think about our budget too much while we're down there, plus we want to do all those spa treatments, so we figure be safe rather than sorry.

well that is the thing liz, sandels is almost as much as hawaii unless you go to jamaica. If I dont end up buying a house now I think I may just go with hawaii.
