St. Lucia vs. Aruba

Originally we planned on going to Paris and London- but because its February we decided on somthing warmer. We narrowed it down between these two...Any recommendations???

I've been to both... Aruba is really nice but very windy... St. Lucia is a lot more tropical and rainforesty.

I'll make it an even split - we're going to St. Lucia for ours. My friend went to Aruba for her HM though and she had a good time, despite getting food poisoning at a place they ate at - they were both out of commission for like 3 days...

but that's no reflection on the islands themselves.

I don't think you can go wrong with either - I would bargain hunt and compare your bang for your buck at both.

Also - try looking at resorts on expedia - you may find one that stands out more than others, which could help sway your decision.

I went to Aruba for a destination wedding at it was the best wedding I'd ever attended. The people in Aruba are so warm and it feels just like what you would imagine Paradise to be. We were depressed when it was time to leave, lol.

LOVED LOVED LOVED Aruba. My friends went to St. Lucia for their honeymoon and came home unhappy.

if you decide to go to Aruba then def. go to El Gaucho's for dinner!! its AMAZING. Same with the restaurant by the lighthouse. it has a beautiful view.

I've been there before and it was one of the best islands I've been too and i've been to alot of other places before and would go back to Aruba in a heart beat.

Been to Aruba on vacation with FH and we loved it!!! It's just a really beautiful place! Everyday the weather was perfect. Also, I don't know what time of year you're going, but you don't have to worry about hurricane season there.
