Anyone who got married here or is getting married here - where are you having your rehearsal dinner? FH & I wanted to have it at The Good Life in Massapequa because that's where we had our first date; but they told us they won't do a party on a Friday night. I need ideas please! (Not Captain Bills or Molly Malones though!)

St. Patricks is absolutely beautiful!!! Ive been to a few weddings there, as well as attend church there.Aji in Bay Shore has a great vibe... not sure if they do rehearsal dinners.
Gemelli's in Babylon is perfect, we've had several events there.
Argyle in Babylon, i absolutely love.
Milk & Sugar Cafe in Bay Shore, not sure how dinner works there.
Declan Quinns?
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the ideas so far. I'll look into Carriage House and possible Argyle. Aji would work for FH &I but not most other people in our group, plus I didn't love the atmosphere in there - food was good though. Gemelli's I would think would be expensive? And Declan Quinn's is under new owners since last I had been there, so I'm not sure how it is now.
Keep the ideas coming ladies!

We are having out rehearsal dinner at Nocturne in babylon village. It was the only restaurant that gave us the whole rest. for a Friday night. Check it out! There prices are good too.

Re: St Patrick Church Bay Shore
I am getting married there as well and am having my rehearsal on a friday night, I had a hard time finding a place to do a rehearsal dinner on a friday, try Irish Coffee Pub, don ricardos and Molly Malones. I dont know where you are coming from but I am actually booking Butterfields which is in Hauppauge but in our price range and was fine with the rehearsal on a friday.

I live in Floral Park but grew up in Bay Shore. I just want someplace relatively close to St. Pats so that people aren't having to drive all over (about half the wedding party is from Nassau, FILs and FBIL are in NJ, the rest are in western Suffolk). I will never do Molly Malones though - I went to an event there and the place was dirty and the food was eh. Plus I was in the room right when you walked in and they separated it with a curtain because they had two parties going on. We had to walk through the other party to go to the (closet sized) bathroom.I'm going to check out Nocturne and Butterfields. Thanks ladies
