Hi girls. I'm not sure if many of you are getting married at this church but I have a question. Is it true that the flower girl is not allowed to throw flowers at the ailse of the church? This trew me off a bit because now i don't see a reason to have a flower girl. Thank you. Feel free to FM me.

Re: St. Patrics Church in Bay Shore
I'm getting married there, and I am pretty sure this is true. I'm not 100% sure though since my flower girl is a little older and I dont want her throwing flowers anyway. I know you are not allowed runners there either.
She will be holding a pomador.

I'm getting married there, and you're not allowed to have anything in the aisle including petals and an aisle runner. This is the rule at many Churches because 'it's dangerous'. That's what I was told! I am still having a flower girl bc I think it will be cute if she just walks down the aisle with everyone else! :) HTH

I'm getting married there too. no petals are allowed to be thrown on the aisle OR outside. in fact NOTHING is allowed to be thrown outside, only options are bubbles and wands.
they have sooo many rules! you're only allowed ONE picture (per reader) of the readers... among other things.
our church is at 1:00 and there's another wedding at 2:30 (yea, hi, cutting it close) we have to be out by 2:10 The LATEST!!!! and we can't do pictures there which is the whole reason we chose that church. ever since I was a little girl I wanted to get married at saint patricks because of the style of the church.

Re: St. Patrics Church in Bay Shore
I got married there last year. You can't have petals or a runner because its a trip/slip hazzard.
I used bubbles for the exit.
They book the entire day with other events.
I had communions and a funeral before me and then a wedding after on top of the regular sat mass. It will all work out timing wise.
As far as the pictures I had more than one picture of my readers and I have tons of pics of the church and my video was perfect so don't worry about all the rules. If your photog has shot in the church before they already know all the rules.
