stalking my registry
I'm 90% sure my shower is some time this month (it's supposed to be a surprise) and I'm having such a hard time trying NOT to keep checking my registry!! I suck at surprises, I'm the type of person that needs to know EVERYTHING! So this is killing me! LOL. Is anyone else having a hard time not checking it every other day to see if a lot of items were purchased yet???

I'm right there with you! I logged onto my registry the other day to adjust something and I saw things were bought...It is taking everything in me not to check my registry everyday.

Yes!!! I actually cover the products with my hand and just go down the list seeing how much was actually purchased so I don't find out the gifts I'm getting! It's so hard especially trying to figure out what old stuff to toss and what to save because of my shower!!!

Re: stalking my registry
Did you girls do your registries on your own initiative or did your MOH or mother make the plans. I feel like if my MOH (sister) will initiate it, that means she is planning and needs to send out invites LOLI havent done mine yet!!!!

Re: stalking my registry
I did mine on my own when we had our engagement party because some relatives were asking if we had a registry. Then I updated it a couple of months ago when my mom and sister asked for the guest list for my shower.

Ha! Same here! My mom has been bugging me about getting addresses for all my friends so I'm guessing it's coming soon. I've been registry stalking but no new purchases yet...

I stalked my registry everyday when I had my baby shower. It was so much fun and exciting to see what we got especially the items we really wanted lol

I did the same thing, I kept making changes to mine! I forced myself to stop a few weeks ago.

I logged into mine today to add something and one thing was bought! I onky gave my mom the guest list a week ago and I don't think the shower will be until late July or early August, but I'm getting a spice rack! LOL

I think a lot of people buy stuff for price, not for what goes with what. My boss bought me three boxes of random stuff off mine...like ONE cupcake tin when I asked for two, a food scale, a coffee mug

When registry shopping i try to buy things that go together, but I guess sometimes people have an amount they plan to spend and then make it work.

I try to buy things that go together too or just buy 1 item that costs what I wanted to spend.

Yea, my mom is on my case about adding things to the registry because I have too many $30 items. So I either need to add more expensive items or add things that make sense to be bought together. Its annoying because I actually need those $30 items!
