Stalking the mailbox
We mailed out our invites 2 weeks ago and I've been happily stalking our mailbox. Well, today there were no RSVP envelopes and we received our first No the other day.Hopefully, more people start RSVPing. Coming home from work and checking the mail is my favorite thing to do right now.
Quick question - what is everyone planning to do when people do not RSVP? Will you call, email, facebook, etc. Or will you have parents call?

Stalking the mailbox
I'm talking too! Our RSVP date is a week away and we only have half on them back. (I set our date earlier than we needed the count though.) I'm going to give everyone an extra week and then divide them up into people my mom calls, his mom calls, he calls, and I call. Honestly, a LOT of the people we're missing are on his side of the family.

So exciting!!! Depending on who it is I'd decide who should call, but call no FB, text or email.

Stalking the mailbox
Mailbox stalking has been my new favorite hobby! Yesterday FH got home before me and I was so disappointed to not get to the mailbox first! We got our first no the other day also, but received a nice gift with the no, so we weren't too disappointed.
As far as people not RSVPing, I think we will divide it up based on their relationship with us and our parents.

Re: Stalking the mailbox
this is my new pasttime! in addition to registry stalking
depending on who it is who hasnt RSVPed, we will divide up who is calling who, between me, FH, my parents, and his parents.

Our response date is 1/20 and we are still waiting on 68 envelopes to return. I'm making my mom call her side and Matt will call all of his friends/family (bc he's that guy who NEVER sends them back on time so that's his karma) I will email my friends

Stalking the mailbox
I got so pissed at my FH for opening the responses. So far I have only gotten 4 no's. I need about 100 of the people my dad promised 'Oh we HAVE to invite them, don't worry they'll say no' to actually send in their No's. So far 8 of them have said yes!

yupppp! Ours are due by 1/20 and we are waiting on ALOT-bridal party as well. My brother spoke to one guest yesterday who said 'I don't know. I'll try to make it' Do people not understand the point of rsvp?! haha
My brother had 11 people say 'yes' and not show up. They paid over $1,000 for empty seats. I refuse to do that.

OMG really?? If people do that to me I will lose my mind!! Baring some kind of last minute emergency if you say yes, you better be there or feel my wrath!!
