Stamp crisis.. Help!

Stamp crisis.. Help!

I just went to buy my stamps for our invitiations. I had to get The Ugly 60 cent Love stamp for the outer envelope. I wanted to get the ugly love stamp for the reply card as well but they didn't have any left and they said they aren't getting anymore so I had to get the I love you with the 2 hearts for the reply cards. Is it going to look tacky with the different stamps? Will anyone actually notice? Did anyone else have to do this?

honey..no one notices...I used the Art Deco Love stamp for SOME, and a nature scene for others and then american flags for the RSVP's....seriously, NO ONE takes notice of that

OMG FMIL and I had a HUGE discussion about stamps last night....SHe bought tons of them on Valentine's da. I was shocked cause that was really not a priority to me, thank God she was thinking about it. I don't think it is tacky at all, I can almost guarantee no one will be comparing your stamps.

I had got the newer I love u stamps with the 2 hearts for the outer envelopes, but my rsvp are postcards and those stamps are only 23 cents. So needless to say I have 2 different stamps and the only postcard stamps they have now are George Washington. Really romantic looking!!!

Ok, think about it logically. How long do you look at the side of the envelope with your name and address on it? Don't worry about it!

I agree with everyone else...I really don't think it makes any difference!!!!

I was in the same situation and wondered if people would a) notice that i used two diff. stamps and b) think they were 'ugly'

Turns out, I got messages saying how adorable the 'I Love You' stamps are! People seem to think they're cute!

Don't worry!

I got the horribly ugly Edna somebody-or-other 63 cent stamp for the outer, and the ugly heart on for the RSVP.
Trust me, nobody notices or cares.

I don't think it matters either. But if you want the other stamps you can order them from www.usps.com. They charge you $1 to ship them.

I think only you will notice, don't fret its the smallest detail, I hope that it is the only detail you are unhappy with, so that when you look back on your gourgeous day, you'll say 'everything was perfect except that stamp'LOL, see sounds silly like that right. Your day is going to be perfect!

Trust me...you are the only one who notices some of these details. different stamps are fine.

I asked a few people if they liked the 'I love you' stamps I put on the invitations and they said 'there was an I love you stamp on the invitations?

Trust me they don't notice.

My FH got very nice but not gawdy reddish (not bight..muted) stamps for some of the other cards and I used those.

If anyone actually has the gall to say something about their invitation I sent to them and the stamps...they're pretty sad. LOL

I would not worry about it.

If that is the 'worst' thing about the whole wedding planning situation, then that would be great right? I think its not a big deal.

I believe the ONLY people that notice stamps on wedding invitations are planning brides.

As long as the invite gets there is all that counts, the stamp does not make a difference at all.
