What special stamps are you using for the wedding invites?? I used the love stamp below for the engagement party invitations and probably going to use them for the STD's.
They have personalized stamps but they can be expensive..
We just used the regular Liberty Bell Forever Stamps for the RSVP cards and for the outer envelopes we used the 64 cent Monarch Butterfly ones.

There's also a 0.61very pretty wedding cake stamp that you can use if your invites are heavy and need additional postage (also comes in 0.64 amount if you need that)
I used one wedding cake and one wedding ring stamp.

i wasn't sure if i'd have to mix up stamps or add extra postage that wasn't needed

My mom bought them in the regular post office. She went up to the window to ask what they had.. they have them on the usps website too.

I bought stamps from Zazzle. My invites were I think 78 cents to mail and I didn't want 2 different stamps on it so I suckedd it up and paid extra money for the personalized stamps.

I had to use the 'wedding cake' and 'wedding rings' since my postage was $1.05. I didn't want to do custom stamps - not when I was sending out 151 invites at $1.05 each!
