STAN WIEST & ENCORE MUSIC

Any feedback on these two? I have appointments with them and just wanted to see what kind of experiences are out there...thanks!!

I booked Stan for my May 2003 wedding. So far he has been absoultly amazing. Every single time I post to him on the vendors board, email or call him he getrs right back to me. He is very attentive and has helped me other aspects of my wedding besides the band part. Let me know if you have any more questions.

I booked my cocktail hour music with Encore and she was great to deal with, she worked with us to decide what we wanted an she is not pressuring at all!

If possible, can you please tell me how much Stan Wiest and / or Encore are charging? I really want live music and think it may be way out of my budget. Thanks.

I have a trio for my ceremony and musicians for my cocktail hour (pianist, cello, violin and strolling violin) and 6 person band for reception and I am paying $5100.00

Wow..that seems like a great deal for all that you got. I think I want a less musicians for cocktail hour so maybe it'll cost less. I've been hearing great things about Stan. I will make an appt this week. Thanks for the info.

the strolling violin player was free thanks to this site. He has a promotion that if you book him when at your first meeting and name this site the strolling violin player is free!

I used encore...string trio - 2 hours ceremony and cocktail...$750 (7/2002)

they were great...and like said before...not pressuring...but only helpful

It turned out that one of the violinists used to work at my moms old school (music teacher)...they were great...DH's uncle (a professional musician) sat next to them at the cocktail and can't stop raving about them...
