That is a scary picture.

I find fur disturbing.

Did you see the one addressed to Jennifer lopez? I think her people had it pulled from whatever magazine had it (forget which). It had a real skinned animal pic on it with a letter to her.

That's the point of their ads.

People are supposed to be disturbed by the practice of anal electrocution, gassing animals to death and skinning them alive...all in the name of 'fashion'.

I don't wear fur, and I am weening myself off of leather. These poor animals are shocked, drowned, clubbed, or skinned alive. I don't agree with all PETA antics, but I am glad the message is getting out there.

The combo of 'Mr.' Star Jones and the fur definitely get the message across.

this might sound stupid, but do they really skin animals alive? how is that not-illegal?

Re: Star and Peta

I don't know, but I saw this thing on the Peta website about 'kosher' cattle not really being kosher because they don't die a quick death. It was very disturbing.
I really wish I had the willpower to be a vegetarian, but I admit I'm lazy.

And people say how Peta doesn't care about people, but it's not entirely true. They are against leather also because the people who work in tanneries have high incidences of cancer.

peta

the thing I don't agree with is the fact that they are against testing drugs on animals. I admit it is not fair to the animals, but I don't want testing to discontinue. Not while Africa is being wiped out because of AIDS.

I vowed to my vegan brothers that I will only buy vegan uggs for now on
