Hee, Hee... I haven't been here for a while and am very excited to see this board! My fiance is a huge Star Wars fan and we are planning to incorporate his love for those movies in our wedding this summer. How, you say? Read on... All of the music for the ceremony is going to be from the movie soundtracks. The soundtracks will also be playing before the ceremony as well. The colors for the wedding are red, black and silver. Our invitations have silver stars on them and the centerpieces will be red flowers with sparkly silver accents. We are spray painting starfish silver and tying our wedding date ribbon around them as favors. Each of the tables will be named after a place mentioned in the movies, instead of being given a number. We are using a Darth Vader action figure and a regular bride for the cake topper and the groom's cake will be a chocolate Darth Vader mask. For the food at the reception, we are having some catered, but for the main course we are having a pig roast on the beach at the park. I thought that kind of tied in with the theme a bit as well. I know, I'm crazy, but this should be so much fun and that's all we want on our wedding day - to have FUN!!!

Re: Star Wars Wedding
Very cool - I did a Star Wars b-day party for an ex-boyfreind. There was SO MUCH available as far as decorating, invites, etc. I actually made him a 3-d almost perfect replica of R2-D2 as a CAKE! It came our perfect. I was very proud of it

Re: Star Wars Wedding
Actually my brother had starwars theme
Girls work black with sliver small light sabers on the tables use of stars on the tables lots of silver and black with gray
later in the reception my brother put on a star wars hat thingy (little poof ball on top)
it was a ton of fun
She walked down the aisle to soundtrack from Empire Strikes back and he and the boys walked down to something from New Hope
It was great
and YEARS ago (plus his second marriage, her first)
PS: their son was to be named Anakin but was changed after the death of my sister-in-law's father died to 'Ian' My brother said it was ok, since it had some of Ani's letters..lol
