Is anyone using them as a DJ? We met with them yesterday and I was just wondering what you girls thought...
I thought they were a little flashy, very into themselves, did you see their promo video, it's like the DJ's want to be stars....sorry that was my impression.
I saw them at a showcase at the jericho terrace adn liked them a lot and went to the office to talk about price... I found them to be a little up there in price but I felt they would do a good job. However, when mentioned to the owner that I wasn't completely sure and wanted to call them back he started to question me why I didn't want to book and made me feel bad for not booking which is not right. He also told me he had 2 other events booked on my day and he said if I didn't mind 'gambling my date' then that was my choice. Then after I decided not to use them b/c of that I received 4 phone calls during the week trying to get me to book... not right in my opinion...
I am using starlight for my wedding... my friends and family have seen them at a bunch of event and just loved them... you also have to think about the tape they show you... they are trying to get your attention... I have never actually seen them like that at a wedding.. you tell them what you want and will definitly get it - plus they Dj Scribbles and Vic Latino's weddings!
Ohmigod Janine that is horrible?? Who did you work with? you can FM me if you like... when I was looking to book he actually was trying to save me money and talked my out of a few extras I would have put but really werent necessary... I also didnt book right then b/c I wasnt with my FI and it was still really far from the wedding day... I went back 2 months later to book... never got a phone call from them or anything!!

a co-worker of mine dj's with them and from what I have been told-they do a great job! don't know any details on the pricing though. SOrry!
