Start of my photocube DIY project - WITH PICS

I bought the frames for my photocube MONTHS ago. I then bought my lazy susan at Ikea and they only have one color option (light wood) so I thought to cover it with material like the top of the photocube. Well, I played around with it a bit and didn't like how the material would scrunch or fold since the lazy susan is round, so I decided to stain it to match the frames.

Here's that part of the project. Next is to finally order my 8x10 pics to put into the frames and then try to do all the assembly. Wish me luck on that!

looks good already! I love the color of the stain! Did you get it at Ikea, looks just like mine pre-paint

Ugh I'm not looking forward to Brett & I attempting the photocube again- first try was a disaster. I'm thinking I might spray paint the lazy susan silver to match the silver fabric on top. The frames are navy blue.

And good idea about painting it silver to match the top - I think that would look really nice! I'm dreading the 'put together' part, lol.
