So we went up to the mall tonight since I had shirts to return and we passed by Macys. I just looked at FH and said, can we? He was all about it. Went up to the registry department and went to town. FH loved it....wouldn't even let me touch the scanner (said I can do it Saturday at BBB....will believe it when I see it). Think we did good for our first time. Just got our feet wet. I'm sure things will change, but we got all the housewares we've been dying for. I can't wait for my shower now. Look out BBB!

FH was the same way with the scanner when we went to BBB, but when we went to Fortunoff's he handed it to me and said 'see you in a half hour, i dont know crystal at all, have fun, get good stuff'
How is the registry at Macys? What do they offer you when you register?

it was ok. the women at the registry were great, the woman in housewares was a little overwhelming at times. she was being really nice and helpful, but i felt rushed and just wanted to go through things at my own pace. she was nice though. as far as what you get....i got a book bag, some magazines and if you buy x amount of goblets you get x free etc etc. Basically things I don't use.

Im getting scanner antsy. We already registered at BBB but I did that on-line just incase for the e-party people wanted to give gifts. But I soooooo want to go get to macy's to use the gun

You know... FH and I are going to the Source tonight, and our dinner plans might fall through because of the weather... what better way to kill a couple of hours then to register.
I'm going to surprise him, he'll love it.

lol, yeah it was a good thing to surprise FH with this one cause we both hate the mall and would never make a trip there just for the registry. figured we were free, it was early enough and i was in the mood to do something fun. after we went to California Pizza and stuffed ourselves with the hummus which was to die for, their Mango Tandoori Chicken pizza which was awesome, and their Tostada and Chicken pizza. Good stuff. Definitely not my fav NY pizza, but a nice change of pace.
