So I was stressing last night because I got a call that the in home pre-cana starts this Tuesday for my church and would be at 6:30pm. The problem was FH works until 7pm on Tuesdays. So I had a whole dialogue prepared to relay to the guy in charge to see if they could make it a little later (I know, a bit nervy of me to request that they schedule a pre-cana class around my schedule, haha). Finally, I call the guy, and it turns out it's at 7:30pm, not 6:30!!! What a relief. And they're doing it a few different days - some Tuesdays, some Fridays and a Thursday. So that works out well!!! Once this is over with, another thing off my list!

Re: Starting Pre-Cana this week
Lucky for you it is spread out. Our church only has 1 day once a year. It was not as bad as I thought. I thought it would be all about no sex before marriage and once you are married have lots of babbies. It was actually helpful and we found out we share the same thoughts on alot of the topics. It was a nice thing to share together. Have fun.

Re: Starting Pre-Cana this week
we both LOVED pre-cana. I miss it...in fact FH and I would love to be host couples in the future.

We did this back in February at the host couples' home. We did it every weekend for 4 weeks. Fri and Sun's and they were 2 hour sessions each but I really think it varries a lot. Nobody I know who did pre-cana have the same stories. Some do it in a church, others had only 2 weeks and the sessions were longer, etc..... But we had a great time at ours and even made friends with one of the couples who we decided to even invite to the wedding.
