So my mom has never met FH's mom and I have been dreading the day that it would happen. My mom has the mouth of a truck driver and FH's mom doesn't curse and FH and his brother and sister don't curse in front of her.
I'm going to the house tomorrow to clean and unpack my kitchen boxes and my mom said that she would come and help me. FH's mom just emailed me asking if it would be ok if she stopped by to see how everthything looks-I can't say no to her. So she is going to stop by and she will be meeting my mom

Everything will be fine!!! I told my mom to tone it down a bit too...she did and they loved each other!!!
Maybe drink a little beforehand though....

Totally will be cool....tell your mom if she wants to see you and your kids...that she will be on her best behavor....lol

I am in the same situation where I dont think my mom and Dave's mom will get a long but my mom gets along with everyone.

u will be fine. My mom and I curse like sailors and FH's family is more reserved. They get along great anyway...
