Staten Island Girls...

I need recommendations for a bridal shower location. I have some family in NJ, most in SI and FH's family in LI, so we decided on SI for my shower.

Today we visited:
- The Lake Cafe (In Clove Lakes)
- Cafe Botanica (in Snug Harbor)
- Looked for places in Richmondtown but they were closed
- Marina Grand and Marina Cafe in Great Kills Harbor
- South Shore Country Club

We are looking for a place that is different from the typical sit down luncheon.

Please let me know your recommendations. Thanks.

I wish I knew Mines just going to be at the Real Madrid. What exactly are you looking for thats different than a sitdown luncheon?

A brunch or cocktail party. I really love the idea of a tea party too- like finger sandwiches, salads and pastries.

There is the south fin grill and the vanderbuilt in south beach...

Also ask future mulligan about alice austen house. She had her eparty there...

You should try the Old Bermuda Inn, the place is really nice and they have a great brunch if you want that type of thing. The food is really good too, I had my E-party there and we also had my sisters sweet 16 there. I went to a shower there once and really liked it.

There is also another place on Victory Boulevard called Waterfalls that I knows is good and Ariana's in New Dorp. Ariana's has great food and I know they just re-did the place.

I didnt realize there were so many of us on here....

Yea future mulligan used the alice austen house but it was alot of work. You have to do everything yourself....once you rent out the space you have to order the food, chairs, tables, china etc and set it all up.

It came out really beautiful in the end though but it took alot of work.

heres a list of catering halls on staten island. its not all of them though

Whatever you do dont go to Stanleys at the SI Hotel I worked there and you do NOT want to have a party there.
