this whole wedding planning thing is like hurry hurry and then wait...
I got all excited figuring out the flowers thing and then booking the florist and i just realized now there is nothing to do with flowers until seeing a sample centerpiece three months before and that is like 6 months away.
I know that there is still so much for me to do but its like you need to rush and get something done but then that's that and then you start to wait.

Re: stating the obvious
I TOTALLY agree with that. I had to hurry up and book the major vendors so that I got who I wanted (I mean if I have to wait 15 months until the wedding I had better get what I want!) and now I just have to wait until it gets closer to do everything!

Re: stating the obvious
It really is annoying. I would rather take everything slowly and enjoy it as opposed to being frantic and then having nothing to do and then being frantic again...

Re: stating the obvious
It's an ugly combination of anticipation mixed with anxiety...with lots of peaks and valleys.

I totally agree! I'm in the waiting stage now and I'm bored! hehe. I hate waiting. I also hate having a 2 year engagement. But the weeks go by faster when you don't think about wedding planning and you're like 'wow a month has gone by!'

I feel the same way after booking the hall we didn't do anything for 3 months then did the photographer. I found a dress I love but i'm waiting because i'm sad of the idea of not looking for a gown!!

Re: stating the obvious
I so agree with this,, We got engaged, booked the hall, church & band, It was so exciting & now we are just idle,, If it werent for our engagement party next month we'd be like what happen ,, Ive looked at gowns & I have my ideas on the other vendors i want to use, but I know once we go to them the are gonna want $$$$ & right now we are strapped..

Re: stating the obvious
I hear ya. I have a lot to book still though. I still have to finalize my photographer and my hair and makeup and all that stuff. I am so busy trying to put $$ aside that I am putting some of the other stuff off.

Re: stating the obvious
Yea, I'm in the waiting stage now too. Nothing to do. The only major vendors that I have left are the limos and flowers which we will do over the summer. Also, June I will be looking for a dress. We haven't done much since March. I miss it!

I hate the waiting game. I'm almost nervous to know what it will feel like when it's all over
