Re: STD and work people question
I am. But I'm only inviting 6 or so people from work + significant others. I work in a hospital so a few of the physicians that i've worked closely with over the past 5 years have pretty busy schedules so I want to make sure they have enough time to make sure not to make other arrangements if they want to come to my wedding

see i really don't hang out with my friends at work outside of work but we're really friendly at work...ugh so confusing!
I mean worse case,...if i leave the job or they do and they get offended they weren't invited to wedding it's not like i have to hear them complain about it right?

LOL, this is true. My office has a tradition of inviting our entire department to everyones weddings (it's contageous around here, everyone is either engaged or pregnant in a ripple effect) so in that respect it was a no-brainer for me.

I only send STDs to the co-workers I knew I was definitely inviting. I have 2 on the list that I am still up in the air about.

Re: STD and work people question
Only send to the DEFINITES you want there.. in your case, I wouldn't send to your coworkers.. especially if you don't hang out with them outside of work...

Also how would you feel if you got a Save the Date but no invite?? even if you left the job... I think it's safe to avoid..

I honestly wouldn't be that insulted...but I have defs I am inviting like my boss and 2 other coworkers for sure...plus i have an old coworker who left the job and moved to texas and Id really like to invite her and i think she should get a STD so she can plan around it...
im really confused here.

Re: STD and work people question
I sent one to my boss and the girl I am closest with. There are only 5 of us including my boss anyway, but no one likes the other 2 so they won't find out
