STD card help

STD card help

I'm thinking of doing STD's since FI's ENTIRE side will be coming from out of state. I was wondering when those that did send them sent them out, etc. 6 mos? 8 mos? less than that?

I plan on sending mine out 8 months prior to our date.

I sent at 8 months...but if you are having your wedding on a holiday weekedn...mem day, labor day, christmas time, easter, 7/4...

you may want to send earlier...so that they don't make any plans...

I saw your profile is an Aug 04...
I personally like sending them out durring december.. People at that time are getting there 2004 calandar, so they can mark the calander right away

I sent ours out in January for our Labor Day weekend wedding on 8/30. We have a lot of out of town guests also, and they were a huge hit. I actually think there are people who may come now since I gave them so much notice that would not have if I had just sent an invite.
