i sent mine out 1 year before the wedding...as soon as you have the date I say send them...I don't see the point in waiting...

My wedding is in June 2007 and I'm sending my out at the end of this month. I'm also including a small card with hotel and airport information.

I've rec'd them anywhere from a year to 6 months before.. 1 year seems to be the popular mailing time.. HTH!

I've heard 6 months to 1 year is the norm. We'll probably do a year...
