I was wondering when you get a response to a STD saying that they are not coming do you still send these people an invitation?

i didn't send STD's out with a response card...it was pretty much just a reminder to people to let them know it was coming up.....they might not be able to commit to something so far in advance....

If they definitively said 'no I cannot attend' then I would not send an invitation. If it was more like I am not sure etc... then I would send one.

We just heard from FH's friend recently that she and her husband won't be able to make it because they are moving that weekend. Whatever....FH was annoyed by that lame excuse, so I asked him if he still wanted to send an invitation and he said yes, so we did.
With the STDs, I sent mine out about 6 months (or maybe even more) before the wedding, so I would probably still send the invite, since you never know if something will change and they can make it after all. JMO.
