Peter Lugers is great but pricey and u can only pay with cash or the Peter Lugers credit card..... I like Ruth Christ Steakhouse too.

Uncle Jack's Steakhouse & Teller's
My first pick would be Teller's and if you go there request for upstairs, it’s more quiet and romantic setting.

Uncle Jack's is DHs favorite. We also like Angelo and Maxie's, Bryant and Cooper and Peter Lugars.

It's not technically a 'steak house' but Prime in Huntington on the bay is gorgeous and has some of the best steak I've ever had. That is my favorite restaurant on the island. Tellers in Bayshore is also excellent.
In the city def DelFriscos, also Wolfgangs or BLT steak.

I would also suggest Del Friscos's, it's FH's favorite. There is also Mark Joseph which is in South Street Seaport. It's a little off the beaten path, but absolutely amazing and then you can walk around the seaport afterward

Blackstone steakhouse in Melville. Best Steak FH and I have ever had (everything is a la carte, and it can add up though)

Both my sisters work at Mortons in Great Neck I would highly recommend going there! It is amazing!! You will not be disappointed.

I forgot about Franks! There's also one in RVC and they're wonderful.
