Steel Drums?

Forgive me for not having a clue about what I'm talking about, but I don't.

I was at a wedding on Saturday where there was a drummer playing along with the music. It was very cool and I'd definitely be interested in that for my wedding. Is that what everyone talks about when they talk about having Steel Drums? Does anyone have recommendations of who to contact? I am going to do a search for it, but since I don't really know anything about it I'd like to make sure I'm contacting good vendors. Also, if you have a quote please send.

Thanks!!

Steel Drums?

Steel drums are more inalign with carribbean music or reggae. You may be referring to just a percussionist if he was playing along with the DJ.

Steel Drums?

Did he have a full set of drums? Because steel drums and regular drums are totally different. I've heard of dj's having a live drummer play along with them but thats different than having a steel drum player.

Steel Drums?

That is not a steel drum. A steel drum is a hallow drum played by one person and associated with Caribbean music. I think what you are talking about is a regular drummer that plays with the DJ. I know our DJ offers it through them.

Check with your DJ, usually it's an add on.
