Stefan's vs Spitz and Peck

I went to see both vendos today, and what a difference! We had our first appt. w/ Steve at Stefan's, he was professional, organized, and so helpful! They were able to work with in our budget(which I told them was $1,000 less then we want to spend). They are able to do 'soup to nuts' for around $3,000. When we went across the street to Spitz and Peck, we had such a different experience! We met w/ Bob (the owner) who told us 'in reality' we could never do what we want for that price. We want to do all 21-22 tables w/ raised centerpieces in all pastel roses, hand tied round bouquets for myself and my MOH/BM's,flowers for groom and 7 groomsmen, flowers for cocktail hour, ladies room, entrance way and the church. In the end we went w/ Stefan's. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.

Stefan`s vs Spitz and Peck

We chose Stefan's as well after seeing five florists. I was ready to call off the wedding and claim bankrupcy. Just kidding about the calling off the wedding part. We were given outragous quotes by the other florists and Stefan's wound up giving us the best deal while the others told us it couuldn't be done.I am actually going to a wedding on the 19th of this month and Stefan's is doing the flowers. I can't wait to see how they come out.

keep us posted on the results egreen3792

I'm sure they will be beautiful! Steve brought us into the back room where there were some centerpieces waiting to go out for weddings that night, they were all beautiful. What are you using for your centerpieces?bouquets? Continued success to all...

Opposite experience!

Wow!! We had the opposite experience (as you read in my posts)! Stefans wanted $7500 (!!!) for exactly what you are getting (20 tables/high centerpieces w/roses, 6BM & 6 Ushers, Coctail hour & bathroom) and Spitz and Peck is giving us much more than what Stefans offered for $3000 less. I think it really depends on who you meet with and how good you are at negotiating. What a busines....

Opposite experience! Sara

Isn't that weird?? I thought of you all day, and was expecting big numbers from them! I shared your story w/ my fiance, and told him that we were going in there to get a good price- not to get ripped off. I'm happy we both got what we want!
