Stepsister Needs Wedding Dress FAST!

So my stepsister got engaged like less than a month ago. She is getting married Nov 13th. She needs to find a wedding dress very fast.. She is looking for something simple.. no frills.. but still nice.

Any recco's in the city or on LI (Nassau) of where she can go? I gave her a few place but thought you guys might have some suggestions..

Tell her to look at Davids Bridal or RK Bridal. She should also start looking around for sample sales so she can buy off the rack. She may even want to check out ebay.

I know the Jessica McClintock store in Roosevelt Field mall had some nice fairly simple, but very pretty dresses - and I think they told me you can order them and get them pretty quickly.

I bought two and am selling my first one if she is interested! FM me for pics. Also, the Wedding Center in Commack has a TON to buy right off the rack. Mostly sizes 6-12 if she falls into that.

If she wants to go less $$ check ebay -- www.bridepower.com has incredible Clearance deals (like $299 for certain AMSALES) if she is easy to size ie a 10 or so. Check www.bridepower.com -- they are all in stock.

Thanks girls..

Money is not really an object-- I am sure she'd want to spend less, but her mom will go as all out as she possibly can. She just needs something really fast.. I would be weary about ordering something online since if it is wrong, or she doesn't like it- she won't have a lot of time to find something else..

Appreciate all your ideas!!!

That's ridic- I went to Amsale when looking for my dress.. That's a great deal!

Well, I just checked -- it is called 'MEGA-MARKDOWNS' and there are at least five amsales in that price range as well as an Anne Barge and others-- they are in stock and I can vouch for their quality and service.

Here are a few she can try. These are all in Manhattan:

The Bridal Garden has designer samples and designer consignment gowns. Proceeds go to charity.

The Gown Company has a sample store. I haven't been to the sample store but the Gown Company has designer gowns. I tried on a few Lazaros there.

Paula Varsalona is having a sample sale on September 9th. She also carries Paris tiaras and bridal jewelry. I got my tiara there. They are very helpful.

Kleinfelds is having a sample sale September 12th.

The Bridal Atelier is having a sample sale September 25-26. I got my gown there. There carry a few designers. They are very helpful.

Erisa Katsura And Yumi Katsura are having a clearance sale through September 30th. I'm not very familiar with them.

Thanks so much-- she is already going to Kleinfeld on Sun and I told her about Bridal Atelier-- I loved my experience there.. and the Bridal Garden as well- went there for BM dresses for a friends wedding and were surprised at the designer wedding gowns!! The other suggestions are great-- thanks again!!
