So my stepsister got engaged like less than a month ago. She is getting married Nov 13th. She needs to find a wedding dress very fast.. She is looking for something simple.. no frills.. but still nice.
Any recco's in the city or on LI (Nassau) of where she can go? I gave her a few place but thought you guys might have some suggestions..

Beautiful Bride in Lynbrook will sell the sample dress right off the rack for great prices if she is a sample size.

I was goingt o suggest try doing something like that. If not that salon try another
The main reason is that I got neurotic and changed my mind. I originally wanted a simple one then I decided I wanted something more ornate. I bought a different one that has very dramatic beading. The one I am selling is a bit tight around my tummy.

I hate to say it because my sister and a bunch of others had major problems, but you can buy and take home that day from David's Bridal.
I would not get it altered there.

I was just checking out theknot and some one mentioned that the Carolina Herrera and Escada outlet stores in Woodbury Commons have a few bridal gowns.
I'm not sure you'd want to make that trip for just a few gowns, though.

don't forget JCrew now sells wedding gowns -very simple typical J crew style but nice
