Hi, I'm new to the site and in the planning stages for my 10/04 wedding. Does anyone recommend using Stewart Manor in Garden City for the reception? I have never been there. Also, does anyone know of another place in Garden City call Chateau something? Thaks for your help. --martha

Re: Stewart Manor
Our wedding was there & I would recommend it! They exceeded our expectations. FM me if you want any specific information.
But post on the Bride helping bride board for more information. Reception related is wedding related

Re: Stewart Manor
It's pretty small with old furniture, but that was over a year ago. They were talking about updating the entire time we worked with them so maybe they got around to doing it by now. In all honesty though, I was in there for a total of 15 minutes the entire day.

Well, as long as they have something. That's a dealbreaker. I've been in weddings where we didn't have a room for the girls and it's such a hassle.

I responded to you on bride board. Did you see it yet? It's a cozy place with a wood floor ballroom, fireplaces, nice bar in cocktail hour section. If weather is nice they will bring tables, umbrellas and chair outside. only 1 wedding. There is a suite upstairs. you can get sunday of september (labor day weekend we got price) $65pp. includes cake, flowers, top shelf. We originally booked there, but cancelled due to needing to lower the minimum. Deal with James, he's super nice!
