I had the same issue..give it time... then all of a sudden I was like omg I gotta book it

How much is the Royalton ranging? Everyone says how expensive it is.

royalton base is about 160pp but then they have all these tack on fees for valet, executive fees and then tax and service charge...it's only one wedding a day and you have exclusive use all day...

wow that is expensive for a base price... however if you love it and can afford it do it. I have heard the Woodlands are beautiful too.

Is this for Fri or Sat night? The best advice I can give you re: The Royalton is this, figure out what price point you want to be at. Go in and tell them the price you want and ask if they can do it. My gf paid way less then 160pp including tax, serive and everything else they add on. Def negotiate! They will either be OK with losing your business or not! But it's worth a shot!

Could you send me your quotes for Woodlands and the Royalton and how many people they are based on?

Thank you

crashing... Use this towards your negotiating! Tell them you have it down to two and want them but you need them to work with you a little more and see if it is doable? Worth a shot. Good luck! I almost went with the Royalton. LOVED it!

woodlands knows i'm between them and the royalton and in fact one of the managers used to work there and what i found amazing was that he had nothing bad to say about the royalton...he was like it's a great place and you'll get everything they promise you...he was like '...buuuut i want your business...' and was willing to try and do good by us....

it sucks because each venue is good for it's own reasons...but we keep going back to the royalton...it's just the price that is making me nervous...plus all the little extra fees like a tent if it rains, having to take pictures elsewhere...

Is money a dealbreaker for you? If not, It sounds like you love the royalton. Either way, you are paying a good a amount of money. Would you rather pay 5k extra for a place you love or 5k less for a place you like? You don't want to spend all the money on the place you like just to save a bit and then still daydream about the place you love. Just a thought.

I went to Woodlands and I thought that I was going to LOVE it and I have to say it wasn't all I had pictured it to be. I loved De Seversky Mansion and I've heard amazing things about the Royalton. If the money is not a huge factor I'd go with the Royalton. From reading what you are writing the only thing that is holding you back from the Royalton is the price. Good Luck with your decision, I haven't made mine yet lol
