I am waering one just for the cermony becuase its part of a typical jewish wedding..
i would say your mom should lift it if she is 'giving you away' and then kiss you on the cheek??

Im definately doing one... i think its the most romantic thing, and is so 'WEDDING-Y' my problem is when do i let him lift it... Right before the kiss? or when my mom delivers me to the altar? ive seen it done both ways and i dunno which i like better. Decisions decisionsdoes this ever get easier?

i decided i am wearing a detachable blusher and after church, taking it off
When I was a little kid, I always wanted to wear a blusher cause I thought it looked so romantic. But as I grew older, it just started to become one of those things I wasn't so set on. And then when I was trying on veils, I put it over my face to see how it felt, and I felt like I couldn't breathe!!! So no blusher for me.
I hate how the blusher looks right now when I try them on, I'm not sure if I will use one, but I like the dramatic effect of having my father pull back the blusher when I walk to the end of the aisle to meet my FH at the alter.
Do what makes you happy not what is or is not in style and not what your family wants. I wore a veil and to this day I wish I had not. It just wasn't/isn't my thing
I'm gonna have the blusher too and both that and the cathedral will be coming off after the ceremony or cocktail hour.

i *think* I will be doing the blusher but I havent picked out my veil yet. I'm kind of a traditional girl & I like the way it looks.
I'm not wearing the a blusher. I asked FH and he said he prefer I didnt wear one.

no blusher for me. i didn't even think about it when i ordered my veil, i just loved the one i picked out.
I wore the blusher for my wedding.. I actually wore it the whole ceremony
i'm gonna wear it...i like the tradition of my dad flipping the veil.
